Job description

Responsibilities
  • Originates and maintains physicians and providers contract packets, including Letters of Agreement (LOA).
  • Tracks submission and approval processes, maintains contact files, and amends contracts as needed for the self-funded medical plan (EPO).
  • Ensures confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.
  • Communicates effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Expands provider network and makes management recommendations for contracting gaps.
  • Performs special projects as assigned by the Corporate Director of Employee Health (EPO).
Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Knowledge of physician credentialing, CPT, ICD-10 codes, Medicare guidelines, and Managed Care contracts.
  • Experience with self-funded medical plans and/or Managed Care plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Professional interaction skills with physicians and vendors.

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
Additional Information

This is a full-time, in-office role. The estimated compensation range is $21.00 to $29.12 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Prime Healthcare offers competitive benefits including paid time off, 401K, medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and more.
