Job summary

Curtiss-Wright's Ottawa-based Contracts team is seeking a Contracts Administrator, Associate, to support the Contracts Support function across the Defense Solutions division. Under supervision, you will help draft and negotiate NDAs and bailment agreements, maintain certification packages, and assist with U.S.

government contracting requirements (FAR/DFARS) to enable sales and contracting activities. With 0-2 years of related experience and strong communication and organizational skills, you

  • Under supervision, develops, negotiates, structures, and manages NDAs and Bailment Agreements with customers/partners.
  • Prepare and maintain certification and representations packages as requested by customers.
  • Support Commercial Item Determinations/Assertions (CIDs) per FAR/DFARS.
  • Maintain the Sales Operations Sharepoint site for all agreements types.
  • Participate in data integrity audits across systems in the group.
  • Provide restricted/denied party screening for new companies.
  • Assist senior contracts staff with policy/procedure initiatives.

Contracts Administrator, Associate - Contracts Support - Onsite

Curtiss-Wright's Contracts team is responsible for providing contractual, negotiation and commercial business guidance to business unit leaders, sales and marketing staff, program managers and others to ensure the commercial interests of the company are served and protected in dealings with third parties.

As the Contracts Administrator, Contracts Support , you will be tasked with assisting in the daily operation of the Contracts Support function within the Sales Operations team and all business units within the Defense Solutions division on various functions as described herein.

Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Contracts Support, this position requires an organized, detailed oriented individual with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Salary Range: $56,200 - $74,900

Your Challenge
  • Under Supervision, develops, negotiates, structures, and manages Non-Disclosure Agreements and Bailment Agreements which establish business relationships with customers and/or partners
  • Complete and maintain certification and representations packages as requested by customers
  • Prepare and support Commercial Item Determinations/Assertions (CIDs) in accordance with U.S. Government contracting requirements (FAR/DFARS), supporting sales and contracting activities
  • Maintain the Sales Operations Sharepoint site for all agreements types
  • Participate in periodic data integrity audits for the various systems used within the group
  • Provide restricted or denied party screening for new companies doing business with Curtiss-Wright
  • Assist senior contracts staff with implementing policy/procedure initiatives
  • Complete various special projects which will be assigned and supervised by Contracts Management
What You Bring
  • A High School diploma or equivalent with a preferred associate's degree in a related field
  • 0-2 years of related work experience, preferably within the Aerospace/Defense environment or technology design and manufacturing field
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Diversified team player with a strong customer orientation
  • Experience interacting effectively with members of a complex organization at multiple levels
  • Organized, detailed oriented individual with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks on an ongoing basis
