Job description

As a Contract Territory Manager in Hamilton/Niagara, you will represent Kellanova to some of the world’s most respected retail operations. In this role, you’ll use your consulting and selling skills to achieve immediate wins and build long-term customer partnerships across your territory. A data-driven approach is essential to grow your business, and you should aim to become the partner of choice for all retailers. This is a 12-month contract role.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Driving Kellanova’s Retail Presence
    You will collaborate with your retail partners to understand their business strategies and targets. Your goal is to achieve distribution, speed to shelf, and display objectives, while identifying opportunities to increase shelf share through relines. Your innovative ideas should set us apart from the competition.
  2. Promotional Execution
    You will ensure timely execution of promotions and shelf objectives, adhering to banners and store planogram compliance. Close partnership with your Retail Team Lead will ensure strategic delivery within your territory.
  3. Continuous Improvement
    You should have a vision for future growth and a plan to achieve it. Identifying sales opportunities through collaboration across the Retail Team is key to our success.
We’re Looking for Someone With
  • Understanding the importance of the Kellanova Brand and leveraging it with Customers and Consumers.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or relevant work experience with a high school diploma.
  • Client-focused mindset with credibility, trust-building skills, tenacity, and sales aptitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license within Canada; a driver abstract may be required.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 35% of the time, involving driving.
