Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard in Ontario, Canada, to patrol government buildings, sports facilities, retail environments, and other sites. You will read environments, anticipate risk, and respond to incidents with strong social skills.

Responsibilities include access control, monitoring alarms and cameras, and coordinating with law enforcement when needed. This temporary 6-8 week assignment offers uniform provision, education investment, flexible schedules, and career growth

Qualifications

• Keen observation and strong social skills are essential.
• Ability to read environments, anticipate risk and act accordingly.
• Willingness to patrol and monitor diverse sites.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Community outreach with vulnerable populations.
• Enforce the Trespass to Property Act.
