Job summary

Keilhauer is seeking a Project Designer/CET Specialist for an 18-month maternity contract in Canada. The role focuses on education and support of the sales representatives and North American dealership network, applying design expertise to provide high-quality solutions and proactive client consultation.

You will collaborate with Sales Reps, Dealer Reps, and Engineering to review design modifications, produce revised drawings, and deliver compelling visual content for presentations, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5 years design experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Office furniture dealership experience or commercial design strongly preferred.
• Experience directing teams is an asset.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, CET, Revit, and other design tools.

Responsibilities

• Generates accurate scope of job based on customer expectations and works with internal team to produce industry-leading visual response.
• Educates Designers and Dealer Reps on product solutions, manufacturing capabilities and tools to assist sales.
• Maintains current knowledge of industry, products, methods and trends in design and specification.
• Prepares design proposals including RFP proposals and creative content for Rep requests.
• leverages CET tool, AutoCAD and other digital tools to create timely product solutions and packages.
• Prepares graphic renderings to support Sales presents and processes.
