  • Pay Rate: $59.56/hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a Contract Professional - Project Services (Site C Clean Energy Project) on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada


Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.


Description

The Contract Professional in this role will join our clients the Site C Clean Energy Project team within Project Services. In this role, you will perform formal management of contracts with medium to high complexity, ensuring that projects and ongoing operations are delivered safely, with high quality, within budget, and on time.


Responsibilities


  • Contract Management & Execution: Perform comprehensive post-award contract management activities—including change management, payment processing, submittal management, contract and project completion, and early involvement in procurement—by applying expert knowledge of contract management practices while working effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Performance & Compliance Monitoring: Ensureand suppliers fulfill their contractual obligations by monitoring performance, identifying issues, taking timely action to resolve them, and communicating with stakeholders to minimize risk and maximize supplier performance.

  • Stakeholder & Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain meaningful relationships between suppliers, stakeholders, and ’s supply chain organization through timely communication, issue resolution, and relevant reporting to enable the successful implementation of sourcing initiatives.

  • Financial & Usage Control: Forecast, monitor, and report on contract usage to ensure compliance with ’s contract and finance control policies, as well as budget requirements.

  • Advisory Services: Provide guidance and advice to client groups in the sourcing, procurement, and management of goods and services contracts, leveraging a deep knowledge of public sector procurement law and supply chain concepts to secure the best value for our client


Qualifications


  • 9 years of contract management work experience.

  • Must-Have / Preferred Experience

  • Demonstrated previous experience managing post-award contracts, including but not limited to:

  • Change management

  • Payment processing

  • Submittal management

  • Contract and project completion

  • Early involvement in procurement

  • Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Background in the public sector or utilities industry.

  • Experience in procurement / pre-award phases.

  • Familiarity with SAP systems.

  • Experience handling claims in commercial management.

  • AI Literacy.

  • Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent.

  • Certificate in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent is considered an asset.


Additional Information


  • Location: Hybrid (3 days in office, Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day; any changes require prior approval by the hiring manager manager)

  • Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.

  • Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”.This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
