Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Centre Director for our Burlington, ON location to oversee day-to-day operations and leading the centre to meet licensing standards. You will manage staff, payroll, and communications, ensuring safety and quality of care in all classrooms.

The ideal candidate is a registered RECE with strong knowledge of regulations, financial management, and immunization requirements, plus CPR/First Aid certification. Competitive benefits and career growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
• Demonstrated knowledge of provincial licensing and regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management.
• Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per local health requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation of the centre, including recruitment, staff development, policies, safety, hygiene, and licensing.
• Ensure staff understand objectives and expectations in each classroom.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general communications.

What will you be doing?

• Managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with families about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
