Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is hiring Continuing Care Assistants in Training (CCAITs) across Nova Scotia, including Kentville/Windsor (Valley), Bridgewater/Lunenburg, and Middle Musquodoboit. This role offers immediate shifts, flexible full-time and part-time schedules, paid training, health and dental benefits, mileage reimbursement, and a company-provided mobile device.

You will provide personal care, travel between client homes, assist with meals and light housekeeping, support daily living

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in providing personal care.
• Plan to successfully complete CCA exam in 4 months.
• Nursing background or extensive PSW experience will be considered.
• Experience with elderly populations is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
• Able to provide a current criminal check with VPS if selected.
• Demonstrate compassion, tact and diplomacy when interacting with residents and families.

What You Need
