Job summary

ParaMed is Canada''s leading provider of home health care services, delivering compassionate care to patients in their homes and communities across Canada. We are seeking certified Personal Support Workers to travel throughout Amherstburg, Harrow and surrounding areas, providing daily living assistance with dignity and respect.

As part of the home and community care team, you will support patients with daily activities, meals, and light housekeeping while promoting independence.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
  • Reliability and flexibility.
  • Valid driver license with access to a vehicle to travel to patient residences.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, and peri-care.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks per care plan, including special diets.
  • Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to improve quality of life.

Job description

Job Description Sign on Bonus up to $500. We are currently looking for certified Personal Support Workers to fill positions travelling throughout Amherstburg/Harrow and surrounding areas. Must be able to work every other weekend.

As an integral part of the home and community care team, you will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes and community setting by assisting with activities of daily living.

What you’ll do
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan
  • Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help your patients enjoy a better quality of life
What you bring
