Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a Contents Technician to respond to emergency and property-damage situations in residential and commercial properties. You will assess damage, document items, and coordinate with the supervisor to manage contents and restoration tasks while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, customer service experience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold.
• Survey damage within the property.
• Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property.
• Assist with the completion of supply orders for the contents division.
• Submit daily time sheets and code job hours to the supervisor.
• Complete cleaning processes for both contents and structural damage assigned jobs.
• Complete and file documentation on contents and laundry jobs.
• Take photos of jobs assigned at the start, completion, and throughout the process.
• Keep equipment clean and organized in the shop.

Contents Technician

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

The Contents Technician position is a career in field services in the property damage restoration industry, primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. The team addresses the property and the customer with skill, knowledge, and professionalism while preserving as much of the property as possible while working safely and efficiently on the job site.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold
• Survey damage within the property
• Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property
• Assist with the completion of supply orders for the contents division
• Submit daily time sheets and code job hours to the supervisor
• Complete cleaning processes for both contents and structural damage assigned jobs
• Complete and file documentation on contents and laundry jobs
• Complete notes of assigned jobs in our primary operating system (RMS)
• Take photos of jobs assigned at the start, completion, and throughout the process
• Keep equipment clean and organized in the shop
• Responsible for unloading trash in assigned areas
• Perform initial site visits
• Set restoration equipment within guidelines

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer Service experience

Physical Requirements

• Constantly move about job sites; stairs, walkways, roofs, crawl spaces
• Stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle
• Occasionally requires a ladder to complete jobs
• Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
• Frequently will lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
