Job summary

Lightfox Games in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Content Producer to drive day-to-day production of game content for our unannounced mobile title based on a world-class IP. You will own content calendars, coordinate Design, Art, Narrative, Audio, and QA, and ensure on-time delivery aligned with the roadmap.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of game production experience (mobile preferred), ships content from brief to release, and thrives in small, fast-moving teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day production of a content stream from brief to release.
  • Build and maintain content calendar and delivery schedule aligned with roadmap.
  • Coordinate Design, Art, Narrative, Audio, and QA for each content drop to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Track asset lists and content throughput, spot bottlenecks, and raise risks with options.
  • Manage publisher approvals for content from submission to final sign-off.
  • Run content lock, build readiness, and release checklists for each drop.
  • Lead team planning, standups, and retrospectives to improve content workflow.

Job description

Lightfox Games is seeking a Content Producer to join our Vancouver based team to work on an unannounced mobile game for a world-class IP and Publisher.We are looking to build an organization of talented individuals operating in small teams with high levels of ownership.This is a hybrid role out of Vancouver, BC. When remote, we’re a quick-to-videocall, video-on studio to keep collaboration fast and effective. Vancouver-based team members may be asked to travel to our Seattle office once or twice a year for on-sites.

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day production of a content stream, taking levels, characters, and enemies from brief through release
  • Build and maintain the content calendar and delivery schedule, working with Leadership to keep it aligned with the game's roadmap
  • Coordinate Design, Art, Narrative, Audio, and QA on each content drop so assets, text, and tuning land on time and to quality
  • Track asset lists and content throughput, spot bottlenecks early, and raise scope or schedule risks with clear options
  • Manage publisher approvals for content, from submission and feedback through final sign-off
  • Run content lock, build readiness, and release checklists for content for each drop
  • Run the team's planning, standups, and retrospectives, and keep improving how content moves through the pipeline
  • After launch, use player feedback and KPIs to help shape the cadence and mix of live events and content updates
Requirements
  • 3+ years of game production experience, including at least one shipped title (mobile strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience producing game content such as levels, events, characters, narrative, or art and audio assets
  • Experience building and running content schedules, asset trackers, and release checklists in tools like Jira, Favro, Confluence, or ShotGrid
  • Strong organization and follow-through across several disciplines at once
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including turning feedback from external partners into actionable tasks
  • An active mobile gamer with a feel for what makes mobile content engaging and worth coming back for
  • Comfortable working in small, fast-moving teams
Nice to Have
  • Experience producing live ops events or seasonal content for a mobile free-to-play game
  • Familiarity with mobile KPIs such as retention, engagement, and event participation
  • Experience at a startup or early-stage studio
  • Experience working within an established IP or licensed property, including licensor approvals
  • Experience using AI tools to improve production workflows, documentation, or content tracking
Compensation

CA$85,000 to CA$110,000 depending on experience, plus health/vision/dental coverage, RRSP matching, and equity.
