Axiom-Builders is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to shape our story across websites, proposals and campaigns. You’ll collaborate with creative and brand teams to craft compelling content that resonates with clients, partners and future employees in the construction industry.

You will interview project teams, translate technical details into engaging narratives, manage content calendars, and ensure voice and quality across all external communications for multiple brands.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of content, copywriting and brand storytelling experience.
  • Degree in Marketing or Creative Writing or equivalent.
  • Immaculate copywriting with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience creating content for proposals (RFQ/RFP).
  • Proficient with social platforms and Adobe tools (InDesign, etc.).
  • Experience collaborating with multiple brands and stakeholders.
  • Passion for storytelling and construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Write copy for websites, social media, campaigns and marketing collateral.

Job description

The Content Marketing Specialist will be the written voice of the organization; shaping how we tell our story, attract new customers, engage future employees, and position ourselves as leaders in the construction industry. You’ll bring a knack for building relationships, listening for the stories worth telling, and uncovering the hidden gems that bring our people, projects, and brand to life. You will form a trio of marketing experts in creative and brand, to create a collaborative, growth-oriented and driven team; not to mention establish friendships and have fun along the way!

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key copywriter across multiple businesses and brands, developing clear, compelling content for websites, social media, project profiles, campaigns, presentations, and marketing collateral;
  • Interview project teams, leaders, and subject matter experts to uncover meaningful stories about our projects, people, expertise, partnerships and achievements, translating technical or complex information into engaging content;
  • Develop and support content calendars across brands and channels, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen brand visibility, reputation, and industry presence;
  • Edit and strengthen content developed by others, ensuring consistency in messaging, brand voice, tone, grammar, and overall quality across external-facing communications.
Proposals & Business Development Content
  • Write, edit and tailor content for proposals, RFQs, RFPs, qualifications packages, presentations, and other business development materials;
  • Partner with project teams and business leaders to understand each opportunity and develop persuasive, client-focused narratives that communicate relevant experience, project approach, team strengths and organizational differentiators;
  • Translate technical information and subject matter expertise into polished content that demonstrates strong understanding of the client, project and commercial opportunity;
  • Develop and maintain a library of high-quality proposal content, project descriptions, case studies, corporate profiles, resumes, proof points and other reusable business development materials.
Digital, Website & Reputation Content
  • Write and maintain website content across the organization’s portfolio of businesses and brands, including project and leadership profiles, company information, news and other digital content;
  • Develop social and digital copy that highlights projects, people, milestones, community involvement, partnerships, and company culture;
  • Adapt longer-form or technical information into concise and engaging content.
Corporate & Strategic Communications
  • Support the organization’s awards strategy through the identification of relevant opportunities and development of compelling, high-quality award submissions;
  • Provide writing and content support for crisis and reputation communications, helping develop clear, accurate and appropriately considered messaging for external audiences, often in urgent and time sensitive situations;
  • Occasionally support critical executive and corporate communications when strong writing, discretion and careful message development is needed.
Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years of content, copywriting, and brand storytelling experience, focusing on content creation, brand building, social and web;
  • Degree in Marketing, Creative Writing, or a combination of post-secondary education and experience;
  • Exceptional copywriting skills including immaculate attention to detail in your copy;
  • Experience creating content for business proposals (RFQ/RFP) and awareness of the strategy that goes into them;
  • Proficient experience with marketing platforms including social platforms, and layout tools like InDesign and other Adobe Suite tools;
  • Experience working with multiple people-centric brands; developing content to showcase not just the product but the people behind it;
  • Strong ability to create meaningful relationships and effectively manage internal stakeholders and external vendors;
  • A passion for storytelling, collaboration, connection and an interest in construction.
