Job summary

Amacon in Toronto is seeking a Content Creator to develop engaging content for social media, websites, and email campaigns. You will support the Marketing team with design strategy, content publishing, analytics, and ad performance, requiring creativity and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include planning, shooting/editing photo and video content, writing copy, updating websites, and using AI tools to streamline workflows. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• University degree in related industry.
• 3–4 years of marketing/design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more.
• Proficiency in Canva.
• Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Ability to use analytics tools including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite.
• Experience navigating WordPress to update website content.
• Knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro for video editing.
• Photography experience would be an asset.
• Basic programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create original content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
• Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content.
• Write copy aligned with brand voice and tone.
• Update and maintain websites as required.
• Generate email campaigns.
• Assist with copywriting, scheduling posts, and website content.
• Monitor trends and propose new content ideas.
• Manage paid digital ad campaigns and track performance.
• Assist marketing with design strategy and research.
• Proofread printed and digital materials.
• Utilize AI-tools to aid in content creation and scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
