Job summary

VaynerMedia in Toronto is seeking a content creator who can autonomously ideate large volumes of content across social platforms, under guidance from creative leadership.

You will craft content that resonates with audiences, analyze attention metrics, and adapt in real time. You will collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to meet tight deadlines. The role requires videography, editing, writing, and design skills with DSLR, Final Cut/AE, Google Docs, and the Adobe suite.

Qualifications

• Video/writing/art/design education or equivalent creative experience.
• Proficiency with DSLR videography/photography.
• Experience with Final Cut/After Effects editing.
• Strong writing using Google Docs/Word and basic design tools.
• Ability to ideate and execute content end-to-end across media.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously ideate large volumes of content across platforms with guidance from creative leadership.
• Create content that makes impactful connections with consumers, measured by attention metrics.
• Cull insights from live response to adapt content accordingly.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional departments on rapid-fire requests and tight timelines.
• Collaborate with Post Creative Strategist to craft community management responses and engagements.
• Attend creative brainstorms and team meetings, contributing ideas and strategy.

Base Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 CAD. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Key areas of Responsibility

• Autonomously ideate large volumes of content across multiple media platforms and tools, with informed guidance from creative leadership
• Create content that makes impactful connections with consumers, measured by attention metrics (likes, comments, etc).
• Cull for insights based on real-time response/reaction to live content on social pages, and adapt content based on these learning
• Collaborate with your teammates and cross functional departments on rapid fire requests and tight timelines
• Collaborate with teammates, including Post Creative Strategist, to craft community management responses and engagements
• Attend creative brainstorms, kick offs, and team meetings contributing ideas and design strategy formulation

Experience/Knowledge Required

• Video/writing/art/design education OR equivalent creative experience, with a demonstrable passion for making creative content on a spectrum of media platforms - social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
• Videography/Photography: DSLR
• Editing: Final Cut/After Effects
• Writing: Google Docs/Word
• Art/Design: Adobe Suite/Google Slides/Canva
• Extraordinary content creation skills, capable of execution from start to finish, with a passion for various kinds of creative outlets including design, video, editing and writing
