Job summary

MNP is seeking a Consultant for Indigenous Consulting Services to provide strategic guidance and action planning across private, public, not-for-profit, and Indigenous sectors in Canada. The role supports communities with analysis, planning and feasibility studies while coordinating with diverse stakeholders.

Based in Canada with travel to Indigenous communities, the team emphasizes learning about history, culture and contributions. Competitive salary and rewards reflect experience and location.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations an asset.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Indigenous studies, business, economics, political science, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • CMC, PMP or other related certifications are considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Propose, plan and deliver consulting engagements with a focus on strategy and planning services in the private, public, not-for-profit and Indigenous sectors.
  • Support business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program review, program redesign, financial analysis and other forms of management consulting.
  • Develop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed research and data collection, interviews, focus groups and surveys.
  • Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis and consolidate results to provide meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
  • Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure needs are met and relationships grow and develop.
  • Review, design and develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations and other correspondence.
  • Lead engagement teams, developing effective relationships with clients while coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

Responsibilities
