Job summary

Service Plus Aquatics Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Worker – Tile Setter to join our GTA team. You will install ceramic tile in commercial pools, spas and water features, read blueprints, and support renovations and maintenance.

This full-time, year-round role requires 3–5 years of construction experience, a valid G license, reliable transportation, and your own basic hand tools. We offer steady hours, growth opportunities, and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction or related industrial experience.
• Hands-on ceramic tile setting and installation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Physically capable of performing light to heavy construction work.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform ceramic tile installation and tile-setting work on commercial swimming pools, spas and water features.
• Assist with the construction, renovation and restoration of commercial pools, spas, fountains and water features.
• Perform masonry, cement parging, concrete repair, demolition, painting and other construction-related work.
• Learn and develop specialized skills including marbilite application, soldering and water chemistry.
• Read and work from blueprints, drawings and project specifications.
• Operate and maintain industrial tools and equipment.
• Work with the Construction team to complete projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized jobsite.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform ceramic tile installation and tile-setting work on commercial swimming pools, spas and water features
• Assist with the construction, renovation and restoration of commercial pools, spas, fountains and water features
• Perform masonry, cement parging, concrete repair, demolition, painting and other construction-related work

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of construction or related industrial experience
• Hands-on ceramic tile setting and installation experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Physically capable of performing light to heavy construction work
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, dependable and able to work as part of a team
• Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• High School Diploma required; post-secondary or trade-related education is an asset
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Valid G driver's licence and clean driver's abstract
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and be able to travel directly to assigned jobsites throughout the GTA, primarily Toronto and surrounding areas
• Must have your own basic hand tools in accordance with the Service Plus Aquatics Inc. required tool list. Required tools purchased for work will be reimbursed by the Company in accordance with Company policy
• Bondable and highly dependable

Work Schedule

• Full-time, permanent, year-round employment
• Start times are generally between6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Extended hours may be required during peak periods
• 6-day work weeks may be required during peak seasons:
  • April to early July
  • Mid-August to the end of October
• Employees are responsible for arriving at their assigned GTA jobsite at the required start time
