Job summary

The Byng Group is seeking experienced tiling and ceramics subcontractors for ongoing residential renovation projects in Ottawa, Ontario, and surrounding areas. You will install ceramic, porcelain, and tile flooring, handle tub surrounds, showers, and backsplashes, and perform surface preparation with attention to waterproofing and leveling as required.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years in residential tile installation, strong waterproofing knowledge, and own tools and transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of residential tile installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems and tile standards.
• Registered business in Ontario.
• Valid WSIB clearance certificate.
• General liability insurance (minimum $2M).
• Own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to meet quality standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Installation of ceramic, porcelain, and tile flooring.
