Job description

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks:

1. Load, unload and transport construction materials
2. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
3. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
4. Perform other labouring and elemental activities
5. Assist skilled tradespersons
6. Install sheet metal flashings
7. Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
8. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
9. Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
10. Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
