Job summary

Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to join our growing team in HRM, Nova Scotia. The role focuses on providing control lines and elevations, collecting GPS/Total Station data, and maintaining field equipment.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of surveying experience, a Geomatics diploma, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Robotic Total Station, GNSS, Carlson CAD, and Trimble Access.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of surveying experience, preferably with Trimble hardware.
  • Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology and/or Survey Technician.
  • Valid class 5 Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency with Robotic Total Station and GNSS equipment.
  • Experience with Carlson CAD and Trimble Access is an asset.
  • Strong oral and written communication; team player; safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

  • Provide control lines and elevations for accurate measurements.
  • Collect data with GPS/Total Station and ensure quality control.
  • Coordinate with co-workers and management to meet requirements.
  • Maintain company equipment.
  • Perform work in a safe and secure manner.
  • Other duties as required.
