Job summary

Brycon Construction Limited in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is seeking a CAD Technician to support heavy civil projects through precise quantity takeoffs, 3D modeling, and accurate construction drawings.

You will prepare CAD drawings, perform takeoffs from drawings and models, develop 3D models for planning, and assist with layout and field data, collaborating with project teams to ensure quality and timeliness on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
• Experience with 3D modeling in a civil construction environment.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, surveying, and layout principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

About the Role
