Job summary

All Type Electric is seeking working construction supervisors and service electricians to support our Calgary and Edmonton offices. Positions require Alberta Journeyperson or Inter-Provincial designation, 5+ years of experience, and ability to lead crews on light industrial, commercial and manufacturing projects.

Applicants must be able to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics, pass a pre-access drug test for some sites, and hold CSTS, fall arrest, first aid, WHMIS and aerial platform

Qualifications

• Alberta Journeyperson Certificate or Inter-Provincial designation required.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to lead a crew or work independently on projects.
• Willingness to travel to Edmonton/Calgary areas and beyond.
• Must pass pre-access drug and alcohol test for certain sites.
• Current CSTS, fall arrest, first aid, WHMIS, Leadership for Safety Excellence and aerial work platform training.
• Clean drivers abstract.
• Desire to grow and advance within the company.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction and service electrical crews on site.
• Interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repairs.
• Coordinate resources, scheduling and site safety for multiple projects.
• Travel to assigned job sites in the Edmonton/Calgary region as required.

Job description

All Type Electric Inc. (ATE) has an immediate opening for working construction supervisors and service electricians based out of our Calgary and Edmonton offices, serving a variety of clientele in the light industrial, commercial and manufacturing markets.

The positions require the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

• A valid Alberta Journeyperson Certificate and / or Inter Provincial designation.
• Minimum of 5years relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills.
• Reading and interpreting blue prints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and / or lead a crew depending on the projects.
• Willingness to work on projects outside of the Edmonton and Calgary areas.
• Ability to pass pre- access drug and alcohol test. (Requirement for some clients and project sites.)
• Valid training certificates, CSTS, fall arrest, first aid, WHMIS, Leadership for Safety Excellence and aerial work platform.
• Clean drivers abstract.
• The desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed.
