Job summary

GreenTech Resources Worldwide Canada is seeking Contractors and Supervisors, other Construction Trades, Installers, Repairers and Servicers in Northern British Columbia (Fort Nelson). The role is full time with 35 to 40 hours per week, day and morning shifts.

The position requires 2+ years of experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Bachelor's degree is preferred; strong leadership and communication skills are essential to coordinate teams and resources on-site.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in construction, business, management, or engineering.
• Construction industry experience is required.
• Experience in a leadership position is preferred.
• A current driver’s license and excellent communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure teams collaborate to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Construction processes must be monitored, and training and teambuilding exercises must be provided.
• Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
• Inspection of equipment, materials, and routine site inspections.
• Setting up regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and employees.
• Reports, budgets, and project plans must be written and presented to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaboration with architects and other professionals.
• Keeping up with safety codes and construction advancements.
• Assisting with the hiring and training of new employees.
• Processing paperwork and traveling to various locations as needed.
