Job summary

GreenTech Resources Worldwide Canada is seeking a Retail Sales Supervisors to manage daily store operations in Northern British Columbia (Fort Nelson). The role focuses on supervising staff, budgeting, and monitoring sales performance while ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of supervisory experience in retail, strong people skills, and familiarity with AIM and NetSuite.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, financial management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a retail setting or similar as a supervisor.
• Experience creating budgets, financial reports and expense reports.
• Strong understanding of marketing tactics, consumer trends, and product trends.
• Excellent people skills for interacting with coworkers and customers.
• Proficiency with retail management programs like AIM and NetSuite.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Knowledge of labor laws and retail health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees such as salespeople, cashiers, and shelf-stockers.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the store.
• Maintain records of spending, sales, and employee performance.
• Implement measures to prevent stock damage, theft and waste.
• Monitor product displays, shelf stock and store appearance.
• Analyze market trends and advise on consumer product appeal.
• Handle customer requests, criticisms and complaints.
• Schedule shifts and train new hires.
