Construction Site Supervisor - Complex Claims

Position Summary: The Site Supervisor directs skilled and unskilled labour crews in restoration work, planning, organizing, and managing multiple site projects. They demonstrate extensive knowledge of materials, methods, practices, and equipment used in restoration and emergency mitigation. Responsibilities include completing time and material paperwork, daily activity sheets, and field reports.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules covering all phases and dependencies, including design, procurement, installation, and administrative tasks across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies for all personnel and subcontractors.
• Supervise restoration labourers, including licensed trades.
• Report and document project activities to the Project Manager and T&M desk.
• Manage projects to ensure scope of work (SOW) on emergencies is met.
• Estimate materials and equipment required, and communicate needs to the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a construction supervisor or foreman in restoration/emergency industries, managing up to 25 reports.
• Knowledge of reconstruction practices for water, wind, mold, fire, and vandalism damages.
• Understanding of building codes, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical codes.
• Familiarity with laws and ordinances regulating building construction.
• Strong communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including material handling, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and wearing respirators.
