Job summary

FCC Canada is seeking a Construction Quality Manager for Scarborough to oversee QMS implementation, QA/QC plans, audits, and NCR processes on major transit and civil works projects. You will coordinate testing, manage NCRs, train staff, and ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and client requirements while partnering with field supervisors and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years QC on heavy civil projects.
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
• Experience with QA/QC documentation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project QA/QC system and documents.
• Audit plans, site inspections, and non-conformance management.
• Coordinate testing and sampling with labs and inspectors.
• Record NCRs, corrective actions, and client handover quality docs.
• Provide QA/QC training and support to project teams.
• Ensure workmanship and materials meet drawings and specs.
• Work with supervisors and subcontractors to enforce QC procedures.
• Prepare quality reports and assist regulatory submissions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project quality standards.
• Confer with owners, contractors, and designers to resolve issues.
