Construction Project Manager

Randstad is partnering with a Construction Management / General Contracting company in Hamilton specializing in commercial and residential construction. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record managing projects valued from $1M to $20M, covering full project cycles.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of commercial/residential projects, including planning, coordination, and budgeting.
2. Review construction documents, develop estimates, and coordinate tendering processes.
3. Manage trades, inspections, health and safety, and project schedules.
4. Ensure permits, notices, insurance, and bonding are in place.
5. Lead meetings with trades, consultants, and owners.
6. Oversee project budgets, change orders, and prepare monthly cost reports.
7. Manage subcontractor contracts, procurement, and payment verification.
8. Conduct site reviews and manage communication and documentation.
9. Assist in securing new projects through estimates and proposals.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in ICI or multi-use Residential construction.
2. Knowledge of construction methods, industry practices, estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.
3. Strong understanding of safety standards and Ontario codes.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project.
