Job summary

Rivervalley Masonry Group Ltd. is seeking a hardworking laborer to support bricklayers across multiple locations in the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario. You will load materials, help erect scaffolding, and assist tradespeople on active construction sites.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and complying with health and safety rules. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime or Saturdays if needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with bricklayers.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without strain.
• Able to work at heights.
• Able to follow health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, forms, ramps, barricades, etc. at construction sites.
• Assist bricklayers and various tradespersons in construction activities.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as mortar, cement, etc.
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure attachments and signal.
• Remove rubble and debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• Perform other activities at construction sites as directed.

Wage:

$48.23 per hour (full-time) + benefits according to LiUNA collective agreement

Location of Work:

Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario

• Punctual and willingness to work long hours and Saturdays if required
