Job summary

Legacy Masonry Inc. in Mississauga, ON (1670 Sismet Road) is inviting applications for a permanent, full-time Construction labourer who is self-motivated and has good interpersonal skills. The start date is as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will load, unload and transport materials, erect and dismantle forms and scaffolding, mix and spread materials, and assist skilled tradespersons. English fluency is required; heavy lifting and outdoor work are routine.

Qualifications

• English fluency is required.
• No formal education required.
• Experience in construction is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Reliable and dependable.
• Good teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread materials.
• Clean and stack salvaged materials.
• Remove rubble and debris from sites.
• Tend or feed construction machines and equipment.
• Assist skilled tradespersons.
