Job summary

Rivervalley Masonry Group Ltd. seeks a bricklayer helper to support senior bricklayers in preparing and laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry units across multiple GTA locations.

The role requires 3+ years of bricklayer experience, the ability to work at heights, and strong teamwork under safety guidelines. You will assist with cutting, laying, and repairing masonry while following health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior bricklayers with preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and masonry units.
• Lay and cut bricks, stone, and concrete blocks.
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units and decorative installations.
• Repair walls, partitions, paved surfaces, chimneys, etc.
• Remove and replace existing masonry work for alterations or restorations.
• Assist with waterproof masonry.
• Handle wheelbarrows to transport materials.
• Use hand and power tools to cut/trim masonry units to required size.
• Use trowels to spread mortar and use measuring and layout tools like plumb line and levels to ensure proper alignment of structures being worked on.

Wage:

$48.23 per hour (full-time) + benefits according to LiUNA collective agreement

Location of Work:

Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario
