Carlson Construction Group is seeking an experienced Labour Relations Specialist to support General Managers, Project Managers, and leaders across its diverse construction, fabrication, marine, and heavy civil businesses. The role emphasizes field presence, union liaison, and policy compliance across multiple sites in the Lower Mainland and surrounding regions.

The successful candidate will manage grievances, investigations, and workforce engagement, while promoting positive labour-management

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPHR designation or labour relations certification is considered an asset.
• Experience interpreting and administering collective agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide labour relations guidance to General Managers and operational leaders across subsidiaries.
• Interpret and administer collective agreements, labour policies, and workplace procedures.
• Act as liaison between management and union representatives.
• Support labour-management meetings and relationship-building initiatives.
• Assist with grievance management, investigations, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance with collective agreements, employment legislation, and company policies.
• Prepare reports and labour relations updates for leadership.
