Job summary

TESC is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator for a 1-Year Contract to monitor, assist, and conduct safety and environmental activities on site projects in Ontario. You will support project teams with proactive safety planning, training coordination, audits, incident investigations, and safety administration.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent required.
• NCSO certification or CRSP designation is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support site compliance with HSE policies, client standards, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and audits, PPE checks, CCVs, and safety reviews.
• Assist with safety meetings, toolbox talks, and documentation within systems.
• Provide guidance to project teams to implement safety plans and continuous improvement.
• Identify non-conformances, recommend corrective actions, and track resolutions.
