Job summary

York Realty Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Construction Financing to support the financial mechanics of project funding.

This intermediate role partners with Finance, Accounting, and Construction to ensure funds flow to projects on time and in accordance with lending agreements. The successful candidate will review contractor invoices, validate costs against budgets, and prepare draw submissions for lenders while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with loan covenants.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, business, construction management, or related field.
  • Strong analytical abilities with focus on accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with project finance concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret lending agreements and contracts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; multitask across draws.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate contractor and vendor invoices against lending agreements, budgets, and draw schedules.
  • Prepare draw request packages for lenders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Track project funding against construction schedules and loan milestones.
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate as needed.
  • Liaise with lenders, third-party quantity surveyors, and internal team on draw-related matters.
  • Maintain audit-ready records of loan draws and supporting documentation.
