Dheya is seeking an experienced Estimator for our head office in South Surrey, BC, to deliver accurate cost estimates for ICI and residential projects. You will analyze plans, perform quantity take-offs, prepare bids, and work with project managers and engineers to keep projects on time and within budget.

• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to understand project requirements and scope.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and information as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and ensure compliance with all specifications.
• Analyze project costs and budget forecasts, providing value engineering options where applicable.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on estimating progress and timelines.
• Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing for future bidding processes.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating processes.
