Job summary

RFNOW Inc. is seeking skilled Equipment Operators to join our Construction Team in the Virden, MB area. You will operate heavy equipment to support the installation of fiber optic infrastructure as part of a crew ensuring projects stay on schedule and safe.

Responsibilities include performing daily inspections, maintaining equipment, securing loads, and helping with general labour tasks while adhering to PPE standards and OH&S regulations. Must be able to work away from home for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 license required (Class 1 or Class 3 preferred).
• Experience with heavy-duty equipment such as skid steers, plows, HDD drills, and pulling various trailers.
• Experience with utility locates and working around existing utilities is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.

• Assist with general labour duties as needed to support project completion.
• Adhere to all company PPE standards, safety policies, and OH&S regulations.
• Complete accurate daily paperwork including site meeting notes, driver logs, equipment inspection forms, and attendance tracking.
• Other duties as assigned
