Job summary

RFNOW Inc. is seeking skilled Equipment Operators to join our Construction Team in the Virden, MB area.

You’ll operate heavy equipment to support fiber optic installation, working with a crew to keep projects moving safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include daily equipment inspections, maintenance, securing loads, and accurate paperwork; you’ll also perform general labour tasks as needed and adhere to OH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment (backhoes, excavators, dozers, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a construction crew and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently for fiber optic projects.
• Perform daily pre-use inspections and report issues.
• Maintain and lubricate equipment; secure attachments as needed.
• Transport, load, and unload materials; assist with general labour as required.
• Complete accurate daily paperwork and adhere to OH&S regulations.
