Job summary

Bird Nason Contracting Group is seeking a Craft Recruiter to support hourly craft staffing across Western Canada. You will post jobs, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and help onboard new hires in commercial and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate has 0-2 years in recruitment or HR, strong communication, organization, and a willingness to learn. Travel to project sites and recruitment events is required, and you’ll work closely with hiring managers and field teams.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HR or business admin preferred.
• 0-2 years in recruitment or related fields.
• Interest in construction industry and recruitment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment of hourly craft positions across Western Canada.
• Post jobs on internal and external boards; review resumes.
• Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and assist hiring managers.
• Maintain ATS data and assist onboarding.
• Attend job fairs and recruitment events; build candidate relationships.
• Track recruitment metrics and prepare basic reports.
• Support employer branding and recruitment marketing.
