Due to our growth and expanding footprint, we are seeking to add a Construction Coordinator in Port Alberni, BC.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Construction Coordinator who understands the importance of time management and communication for project completion. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in managing work reporting and budget costs.
• Prepare the Daily Report.
• Create daily work schedules for contractors, laborers, and the construction crew with the Superintendent.
• Adhere to budgetary and time constraints.
• Visit and inspect building sites with the Construction Manager.
• Report on progress and update schedules.
• Assist in managing daily contractors and subcontractors.
• Manage all contracts with suppliers and trades.
• Prepare meeting notes and minutes as needed.
• Prepare timesheets for the construction crew.
• Manage printing, sorting, and filing of documents.
• Assist in managing and coordinating contracts and work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent computer skills and accurate data entry.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, MS Project, and plotter printing is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
