Job summary

CDC DCC is seeking a Coordinator, Construction Services to manage and administer low-complexity contracts, ensuring compliance with requirements. The role involves negotiating with contractors and Client-Partners on quality, scope changes, and progress reviews, under supervision for higher complexity contracts.

Key duties include maintaining records, issuing change orders, managing budgets and schedules, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum college diploma in engineering, applied science or related field plus ~2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience in contract management and risk assessment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate and solve day-to-day contractual problems.
• Monitor and control project schedules.
• Liaise with Client-Partner representatives on contract-related issues.
• Maintain site activity records (photos, reports).
• Assess, negotiate and issue contract change orders.
• Develop and maintain relationships within the organization and with stakeholders.
• Ensure quality standards are met per corporate and Client-Partner expectations.
• Ensure health and safety, security and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate consultant construction review and third-party testing.
