Job summary

Defence Construction Canada is seeking a Coordinator, Construction Services to manage and administer medium-complexity construction and service contracts, ensuring compliance with requirements and quality standards. You will engage with contractors, consultants, and Client-Partners to discuss scope changes, progress reviews, and related issues.

Responsibilities include contract risk management, schedule monitoring, and liaison across site teams and service lines, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Minimum: college diploma in engineering, applied science or related field with four years’ relevant experience, or the equivalent.
• Preferred: certification in applicable field (e.g. Certified Engineering Technologist)

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and quality specifications.
• Coordinate and solve day-to-day contractual problems.
• Monitor and control schedules.
• Liaise with Client-Partner representatives and negotiate change orders.
• Maintain site activity records and liaise with other service lines and site teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships within DCC and with stakeholders.
• Ensure quality standards are met and manage contract risks.
• Manage contract financials and coordinate consultant construction review and third-party testing.
• Ensure health and safety, security and environmental compliance.
