Job summary

Penn-co Construction Canada (2003) Ltd. in Steinbach, Manitoba seeks a full-time, permanent Business Systems Specialist to strengthen internal capabilities for evaluating, implementing, integrating, improving and supporting business systems across corporate and construction operations.

You'll translate business objectives into practical information-system improvements, coordinate system design and testing, and liaise with stakeholders, IT, vendors and leadership to ensure reliable operational

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible experience in business systems and IT service delivery.
• Experience translating business requirements into practical system, workflow or reporting outcomes.
• Experience working between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and users.
• Experience supporting implementation, testing, rollout and adoption of business systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work on-site in Steinbach, Manitoba with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Confer with internal stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for information systems.
• Analyze current processes to identify friction, data-quality concerns, and adoption gaps.
• Translate objectives into clear requirements, process maps, implementation plans and tests.
• Coordinate design, integration, testing and deployment of information-system solutions.
• Act as liaison between business units, IT, vendors and operators for practical delivery.
• Support user acceptance testing and post-implementation reviews to ensure reliability.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, training materials and playbooks.
• Advise leaders on information-system improvements, service delivery and governance.
• Support technology adoption through stakeholder engagement and change communications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement with feedback loops and performance metrics.
