Job summary

PCL Constructors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month contract. You will lead requirements elicitation, partner with SMEs to refine processes, and ensure system designs meet construction site needs.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of business analysis experience is required.
Post-secondary education in information systems, information technology, business administration, commerce, computing science or a related field is required.
Experience supporting or developing integrated systems related to workface planning, production, quality or asset tracking preferred.
Ability to work under aggressive schedules and develop creative solutions.
Knowledge of software implementations, SDLC, BPR and change management.

Responsibilities

Lead elicitation, analysis and documentation of business and system requirements for industrial construction processes.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand current-state operations and opportunities.
Document, design, validate and obtain sign-off on user requirements.
Support and enhance systems for production tracking, materials movement and document control.
Ensure solutions align with safety, quality and productivity targets.
Lead workshops and communicate with operations, technology teams and vendors.
