Join to apply for the Conseiller principal ou conseillère principale, Assurance de personnes role at Desjardins.

As a Principal Advisor in Personal Insurance, you will contribute to developing insurance programs and processes, drafting documents and insurance contracts, managing reinsurance agreements, and resolving health-related disputes. You will provide leadership across various stakeholders on strategic and complex projects requiring extensive domain knowledge. Your role involves making recommendations on high-complexity projects, analyzing and understanding the business and organizational context, and interacting with a diverse range of experts and stakeholders. You will act as a specialist and advisor, serving as a resource and coach within your field. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Advising and supporting clients and partners in planning, developing, executing, and monitoring strategic projects and mandates.
  • Developing and updating policies, standards, models, and programs to support strategic initiatives.
  • Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing issues, and making recommendations to decision-making bodies.
  • Representing your unit in decision-making forums.
  • Representing Desjardins in external agreements with partners or organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • Expert-level proficiency in English, due to the nature of tasks and interactions with English-speaking partners and clients
  • Valid driver’s license
