Job summary

The Ottawa Hospital is seeking a Specialist, Conflict Resolution to advise on best practices and compliance for workplace conflict. You will lead investigations, support harassment and abuse investigations, and guide management with respectful workplace policies.

You will coach leaders, facilitate mediations, and conduct workplace assessments, ensuring alignment with provincial regulations and hospital policies. Bilingual proficiency is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mediation, investigation or conflict-resolution experience.
• Experience in large health-care organizations preferred.
• Knowledge of employment-related legislation (e.g., Human Rights Code, OHSA) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on best practices and legislative compliance for workplace conflict.
• Lead investigations and resolutions of harassment, bullying and abuse of authority.
• Coach and train leaders and staff on Respectful Behaviour in the Workplace policy.
• Facilitate mediations and conduct Workplace Assessments as needed.
