Job summary

Germain Hôtels in Canada seeks an energetic Conference Porter to ensure smooth event operations and outstanding guest service. You will work across departments to respond promptly and stay solution-focused throughout a dynamic day.

You will participate in setting up and dismantling lunch areas and banquet rooms, serve meals and breaks, assist guests with luggage, and handle reception, delivery, storage and maintenance tasks while bringing your personal touch to elevate the guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in restaurant service is an asset.
• Good time management and adaptability.
• Determination and team spirit.

The Conference Porter is a committed and independent participant in the smooth running of events. They are committed to providing prompt, attentive service, whatever the task at hand. Organized and positive, the holder of this multidisciplinary position knows how to be in solution mode to respond effectively to the various demands that occupy his/her day.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality service by working in collaboration with several departments.

• Perform various reception, delivery, storage, supply or maintenance tasks.
