Job summary

Alt is seeking a Conference Porter to support event operations at our Quebec location. The role is part-time and on-site, focusing on serving guests, assisting with lunch setups and moving items as needed.

You'll work across departments to deliver high-quality service, help with banquets, and contribute to a positive guest experience through attentiveness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in restaurant service is an asset.
• Good time management and adaptability are essential.
• Demonstrated determination and team spirit.
• Physical fitness for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.

The Conference Porter is a committed and independent participant in the smooth running of events. They are committed to providing prompt, attentive service, whatever the task at hand. Organized and positive, the holder of this multidisciplinary position knows how to be in solution mode to respond effectively to the various demands that occupy his/her day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide high-quality service by working in collaboration with several departments.
• Take part in setting up and dismantling the lunch area and meeting and banquet rooms.

• Perform various reception, delivery, storage, supply or maintenance tasks.
