Responsibilities

• Concrete Finishing:Pour, level, edge, float, and finish sidewalks, curbs, and flatwork to spec using industry-standard techniques.
• Demolition & Prep Work:Safely break and remove damaged concrete and asphalt using jackhammers, saw cutters, and hand tools.
• Asphalt Paving:Spread, level, and compact hot mix asphalt using rakes, viraplates, and rollers to create clean, long-lasting surfaces.
• Traffic Control:Set up and remove cones, signs, and barriers to secure restoration zones and keep team and public safe.
• Job Site Cleanup:Keep your area clean and organized before, during, and after every project—leave it better than you found it.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with foremen, leads, and crew members to meet project timelines and maintain high-quality standards.
• Tool & Equipment Care:Properly use and maintain all tools and equipment, reporting issues and ensuring readiness for daily use.
• Uphold Safety Standards:Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols to protect yourself and your crew.

Qualifications

• Concrete Finishing Experience– Skilled in pouring, floating, edging, and finishing to city or project specs.
• Asphalt Paving Knowledge– Familiar with hand-laying asphalt and using compacting tools like viraplates and rollers.
• Demolition Skills– Comfortable operating a 90 lb jackhammer, saw cutter, and other demo tools safely and efficiently.
• Driver’s License–Valid Class C license required;Class A license or permit is a major plus.
• Physical Strength & Endurance– Able to lift 90+ lbs, work full shifts outdoors, and handle the demands of physical labor.
• Work Ethic– Dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing clean, complete work without being micromanaged.
• Safety-First Mindset– Understands and follows safety protocols, especially in high-traffic or active work zones.

Compensation

$20 - $27 hourly
