Pagnotta Inc. is hiring Skilled Construction (Concrete) Laborers to support our Formwork Carpenters in Edmonton, AB. This is a solid entry path into carpentry with the possibility to advance after gaining experience.

We offer year-round, full-time work, competitive wages, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and travel insurance, RRSP matching up to 4%. Strong safety culture and teamwork are emphasized.

Competenze

• WHMIS certification (we can provide on-site).
• CSTS certification (we can provide on-site).
• Steel toe boots required.
• Experience with concrete form setting or construction is required.
• Reliable transportation to Edmonton, AB.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods.

Mansioni

• Assist tower crane and hoist technicians with duties as needed.
• Demo worksites and prepare them for new concrete pour.
• Inventory counting and management.
• Unload and load materials and equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Degrease cranes and skips; perform general maintenance.
• Operate skid steer as required.

To learn more, visit www.pagnotta.ca We are currently recruiting Skilled Construction (Concrete) Laborers to assist our Formwork Carpenters in Edmonton, AB. This is an excellent way for the right candidate to start a career. The successful candidate could move into a carpentry apprentice role after several years of experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist tower crane and hoist technicians with any duties they need help with
• Demo worksites and prepare them for new concrete pour or placement
• Inventory counting and management
• Unloading and loading materials
• Cleanup and organization
• Degrease cranes and skips
• Perform maintenance
• Operate skid steer

Working Conditions

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime and work on weekends as required
• Long term, steady, year-round work
• One paid 15-minute break and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day
• Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required

Requirements

• Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
• Manual dexterity
• Ability to lift between 11 and 25 kg
