Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Barrie is seeking a Concierge at The Barrieview Retirement Community. You will build relationships with residents, families and visitors, offering personalized assistance to ensure everyone feels valued and supported in daily life.

This role focuses on hospitality and service in a senior living setting; you will greet guests, document inquiries, support clerical tasks, handle cash-related paperwork, and contribute to a warm, respectful home where residents live fully.

Qualifications

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work permit.
• Ability to pass Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
• Experience in customer-facing roles within retirement or healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized assistance to residents, families, and visitors.
• Greet visitors, conduct tours, and answer inquiries.
• Maintain records and assist with clerical tasks and cash handling.
• Support managers with administrative tasks and Microsoft Office.
• Contribute to a welcoming, respectful environment for seniors.

As a Concierge, you'll cultivate a profound understanding of our residents and their unique lifestyles. Building rapport with residents, their families, and visitors, you'll offer personalized assistance, ensuring everyone feels esteemed and assisted during their time with us. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

What You Need To Know

• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit


• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
