Job summary

Aspira Doon Village Retirement Living is seeking a Casual Concierge to welcome residents, families and visitors, build rapport, and guide guests through mini-tours while ensuring a warm, respectful environment.

You will deliver friendly, professional customer service, handle basic clerical tasks, and maintain accurate records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is helpful; eligibility to work in Canada and background checks are required.

Qualifications

  • Provide warm, high-quality customer service to residents, families, visitors and teammates.
  • Greet visitors, assess needs, and conduct mini-tours.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle cash-related documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and pass required background checks.

Rate of Pay: $18.08

Shifts - 8-4pm, 4-8pm when needed

What You'll Be Doing

You will be a welcomed member of the Retirement team, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents' lives. As a Concierge, you'll cultivate a profound understanding of our residents and their unique lifestyles. Building rapport with residents, their families, and visitors, you'll offer personalized assistance, ensuring everyone feels esteemed and assisted during their time with us. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

What You Need To Know
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
  • You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check. Applicable to British Columbia applicants
