Job summary

Oak View Group in Ontario is seeking a Concessions Worker to support concessions operations across venues. You will prepare and serve concession items, maintain stock, handle cash, and assist guests with friendly service.

This part-time role requires availability for nights, weekends and holidays, adherence to sanitation standards, and the ability to verify IDs for alcoholic beverages. Pay is CAD 16.90–19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash or willingness to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.

Responsibilities

• Build orders, prepare food, and have knowledge of all areas in the concessions operations.
• Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and washing dishes.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
• Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check the guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.

Position Summary

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.90-$19.00 CAD.
